We are Sisco Jobs, a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of HSE Inspector in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine HSE inspections across oil and gas work sites and identify unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, and potential hazards.
- Monitor compliance with approved HSE procedures, permit-to-work requirements, and site safety regulations.
- Perform hazard identification and support risk assessments before and during operational activities.
- Inspect PPE, safety equipment, access routes, work areas, and emergency arrangements for compliance.
- Monitor high-risk activities and verify that required control measures are implemented before work proceeds.
- Report HSE observations, violations, incidents, and near misses and follow up on corrective actions.
- Participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings, emergency drills, and site HSE awareness activities.
- Maintain inspection records and assist with incident investigations and HSE reporting.
Required Skills
- HSE Inspection — Ability to conduct systematic workplace and site safety inspections.
- Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment — Ability to identify hazards and evaluate appropriate controls.
- Permit to Work (PTW) — Working knowledge of permit controls used for hazardous oil and gas activities.
- Incident Investigation — Ability to support investigation of incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.
- Oil & Gas Safety Compliance — Understanding of HSE requirements applicable to oil and gas operations.
Preferred Skills

Work Experience Requirements
Experience requirement was not specified. A typical HSE Inspector position in the oil and gas sector requires prior hands-on exposure to industrial/site HSE inspections, hazard control, permit-to-work systems, and safety compliance.
Education
Minimum: Typical — Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related discipline
Preferred: Typical — Recognized HSE qualification/certification
Additional: Typical — NEBOSH/IOSH or equivalent occupational safety certification may be preferred for oil and gas HSE positions.

Requirements
