We are seeking an experienced Plant Mechanic with a strong background in the Ready-Mix Concrete industry in the UAE. The Plant Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing batching plants, concrete production equipment, hydraulic systems, diesel engines, conveyors, mixers, and related machinery to ensure smooth plant operations and minimal downtime.
The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience working in Ready-Mix plants and possess strong mechanical troubleshooting skills in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on batching plants and related machinery.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical breakdowns efficiently.
• Maintain mixers, conveyors, gearboxes, compressors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Inspect plant equipment regularly to identify wear and potential failures.
• Coordinate with plant operations to minimize downtime during maintenance.
• Replace damaged mechanical components and ensure proper installation.
• Ensure compliance with UAE safety standards and company HSE policies.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Plant Mechanic in a Ready-Mix Concrete company in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of batching plant equipment and concrete production systems.
• Experience in hydraulic, pneumatic, diesel engine, and mechanical repair works.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and maintenance manuals.
• Basic English communication skills.
• UAE/GCC experience is highly preferred.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements • Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Plant Electrician in a Ready-Mix Concrete company in the UAE. • Strong knowledge of batching plant electrical systems and industrial automation. • Experience with PLCs, VFDs, motors, sensors, and control panels. • Ability to read electrical drawings and troubleshoot electrical faults. • Familiarity with preventive maintenance procedures. • Basic English communication skills. • ITI/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred. • UAE/GCC experience is highly preferred.
