Accountant

Roles Responsibilities Process invoices track payments and ensure timely collection of outstanding receivables Enter financial transactions into the accounting system with high accuracy Reconcile company bank statements and credit card statements to ensure accuracy Assist in maintaining the general ledger by recording journal entries and balancing accounts Help prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial reports including balance sheets income statements and cash flow statements Assist in payroll processing and related tasks ensuring accurate employee pay and deductions Assist with tax filings and ensure compliance with local state and federal regulations Provide necessary documentation and support during internal and external audits Monitor company expenses and ensure that they are properly classified and recorded Perform account reconciliations to ensure all financial data is accurate and consistent Provide administrative support to the accounting team as needed Desired Candidate Profile Education A bachelor s degree in accounting Finance or a related field is preferred Experience With atleast 2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role Proficiency in Microsoft Office particularly Excel Familiarity with accounting software e g Dynamics Quickbook Sage is a plus Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good organizational and timemanagement skills Ability to work effectively in a team and independently Strong written and verbal communication skills
