Job Description

A private family based in Palm Jumeirah, Dubai is seeking an experienced, warm and professional Nanny to provide exceptional care and developmental support for their 1.5-year-old child. The ideal candidate will be fluent in English and have previous experience working within a nursery or Montessori environment. The successful Nanny should have a strong understanding of early childhood development and be confident creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for a young child.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Provide attentive, hands-on care for the 1.5-year-old child.

· Support age-appropriate play, exploration and recreational activities.

· Encourage the child's curiosity, independence and confidence.

· Establish and maintain a consistent daily routine.

· Support early language, communication, motor and social development.

· Apply knowledge and experience gained from working in a nursery or Montessori setting.

· Use appropriate early-years learning techniques and activities.

· Encourage learning through play and practical experiences.

Requirements

· Previous professional Nanny experience, preferably with toddlers.

· Experience working in a Nursery or Montessori environment.

· Strong understanding of early childhood development.

· Fluent English communication skills.

· A warm, nurturing and child-focused personality.

· Ability to create engaging and age-appropriate activities.

· Professional, reliable and adaptable approach.

· Genuine passion for working with young children.

· Ability to commit to a 6-day working schedule and 12-hour working day.
