  • JOB DESCRIPTION FOR PROJECT SUPERVISOR
    Responsibilities And Capabilities:
    1. He shall be based in Bunduq Complex, Wellhead platforms, and accommodation barge
    in Bunduq offshore field (Collectively called “Site”) as Project supervisor.
    2. He shall be capable of managing and responsible for site supervision of ongoing
    projects, repair maintenance and modification activities (collectively called “Project”)
    assigned to him.
    3. He shall be responsible for forecasting and quantifying the scope of work, necessary
    materials / tools / scaffolding / equipment and manpower, preparing work volume,
    progress chart, executions of all scheduled jobs in planned duration, manpower
    planning, mobilization/demobilization, preparation of material/consumables list,
    materials/tools/consumables procurement follow up, checking stock materials, issue of
    material requisition and loading request, and logistic planning.
    4. He shall control the movement of material, tools, equipment, and site manpower
    including other contractor’s personnel related to his work area.
    5. He shall supervise the Company’s directly hired manpower and maintain their
    timesheets including overtime work.
    6. He shall coordinate the activities of different disciplines (mechanical, electrical,
    instrumentation, etc.) at the Site.
    7. He shall work independently without any supervision of others.
    8. He shall fully adhere to relevant working procedures and safe HSE practices, at all
    times.
    9. He shall ensure smooth execution of the Project.
    10. He shall be responsible for monitoring and controlling the Project progress as per
    planned schedule.
    11. He shall develop method statements and TRA for critical activities at offshore such as
    lifting, pressure testing, etc.
    12. He shall be able to work as “Company Man” for the accommodation Barge, and
    responsible for day-to-day activities on accommodation barge including, but not limited
    to, emergency drill, fuel bunkering, vessel operations, food supply, personal
    transportations, accommodation allocation, material/equipment logistics and its handling
    at offshore, loading/offloading of material/equipment, labor and its overtime work, labor’s
    health condition, tool box talk etc.
    13. He shall be responsible for coordinating barge move and accepting final positioning of
    barge.
    14. While working on accommodation barge, he shall coordinate the food and fuel top up
    between Barge contractor, Company’s Mussafa base and offshore Production
    supervisor so that there shall be no shortfalls of necessary consumables.
    15. He shall be responsible for coordination with Rig and diving team.
    16. He shall be able to execute SIMOPS operations in the wellhead with Project work, slick line operation, intelligent pigging and various inspections etc.
    17. He may be assigned to night shift work and shall be medically fit to work for such
    working hours.
    18. He shall be responsible for site survey of replacement/modification of various pipings,
    Hook up spools, dead leg Joints, and equipment’s. He shall be responsible for
    preparation of isometric drawings and plan drawings, manpower histogram and material
    take off, generating work scope. He shall be conversant in minimizing field joints
    especially for well hook up spools.
    19. He shall be responsible for site survey of extension/modification of various structures,
    access platforms, various equipment’s and various vessel, preparation of drawings,
    generating work scope, preparation of manpower histogram and material take off.
    20. He shall be responsible for preparing proposed line routings and locations for new
    piping /equipment’s at Offshore.
    21. He shall be responsible for preparing Job cards as per operation requirement, MTO,
    Preparation of drawings, detail work scope for Shut Down Maintenance, vessel
    overhauling and flare tip replacement, manpower requirement and work schedule for
    Major/Mini shutdown/ maintenance activities in the complex and wellhead.
    Communications Requirement:
    1. He shall liaise with relevant discipline engineers regarding the job scheduling, material
    requirement, contractor’s work performance, technical issues, etc.
    2. He shall be immediate assistant to the responsible Office engineers for Project
    execution.
    3. He shall be acting as Company’s focal point at the Site during Project execution and
    shall coordinate with various parties such as Company’s office team, offshore
    supervisors and OIM and other contractors. He shall prepare and maintain daily/
    monthly reports and any other documentation related to Project as required.
    4. He shall prepare daily reports and circulate within Company to update the progress of
    the Project.
    5. While at Barge he shall be the Company’s focal point for all Project and operational
    communications between Barge and Company’s office, offshore installation manager,
    complex Radio room and Contractors involved in the Project at Barge. He also shall be
    the focal point for reporting any emergency situations on Barge to Offshore installation
    manager at complex.
    Education and Skills Requirement
    1. He shall have thorough knowledge of offshore piping and structural fabrication/
    installation/ modifications/ repairs, paint coating/ repairs, and heavy lifts using offshore
    pedestal cranes or boat cranes.
    2. He shall be capable of making site survey and planning manpower histogram, materials
    take off, isometric drawings and plan drawings, scheduling, and preparing work scope
    and method statement for Project.
    3. He shall be able to quantify required scaffolding materials for tasks, and make rough
    plan for scaffolding erection.
    4. He shall be good in communication in English (spoken and written).
    5. He shall be competent in use of basic MS Office software such as Excel and Word.

    Competency in using AutoCAD is added advantage.
    6. Maximum age limit shall be 55 years, with special/ explicit approval from Company to
    employ persons above 55 years.
    7. Educational qualifications: Minimum Diploma / Degree holder in Engineering field with
    experience of minimum 15 years out of which minimum 10 years shall be supervisory
    experiences in offshore oil and gas field. 2 years should be of supervisory experience
    on multi-discipline (piping, structure, E&I) projects.
    8. He shall fully understand Company’s QHSE and marine policies and fully relate them to
    his job and perform his work in total conformity with the Company specifications and
    procedures.
    9. He shall undergo Company’s Permit to work training and have its certificate, and
    capable of preparing necessary permit.
    10. He shall ensure compliance of work to Company’s specifications and international
    standards such as ASME, API, ASTM.
    11. He shall be capable of understanding necessary documents to perform the Project such
    as, but not limited to, P&IDs, isometric drawing, engineering drawings, weld procedures,
    piping fabrication and installation procedure, structural repair procedures etc.
    12. He shall be capable of planning, coordinating and accepting final barge positioning at
    wellhead platforms.
    Offshore Formality
    1. He shall possess OPITO T-BOSIET, H2S & BA set training, Medical Fitness Certificates
    from Bunduq approved hospitals (LLH, NMC, and Al Noor). Valid ADNOC offshore
    medical fitness certificates are acceptable.
    2. He shall possess valid CICPA Security pass, specific to Bunduq Field. Company will
    issue Letter of Assistance for enabling Contractor to obtain the passes.
    3. He shall possess ADNOC Offshore OPTIMA travel card
