Role overview
We are seeking an organized, proactive HR & Admin Generalist to support day-to-day HR operations and administration in a fast-paced manufacturing/FMCG environment. The successful candidate will work closely with the HR & Administration Manager to deliver effective recruitment, employee relations, compliance, health-and-safety coordination, audit support, organizational-development initiatives, and internal communications.
Key responsibilities
Talent acquisition and mobilization
- Identify, validate, and document approved vacancies and personnel requisition forms.
- Track vacancy approvals and develop internal and external sourcing plans.
- Manage the full recruitment cycle, from sourcing and screening through selection and hiring.
- Work with recruitment agencies to provide suitable candidates for open roles.
- Prepare monthly recruitment and talent-acquisition reports.
- Coordinate selected candidates' onboarding, induction, air-ticketing, and required legal formalities.
- Process recruitment invoices and LPO approvals; maintain payment and recruitment trackers.
HR administration
- Maintain HR procedures and policies in line with UAE Federal Labour Law and other applicable compliance requirements.
- Build effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Coordinate employee accommodation matters with Housekeeping and Security.
- Maintain accommodation-occupancy records and room assignments for new hires; review allocation and transfer requests.
- Coordinate matters involving security, housekeeping, GMP, pest control, risk assessments, fire safety, engineering, and building maintenance.
- Arrange employee transportation or reimbursement, including hospital or employee transfers, when required.
- Maintain HR files, reports, forms, and supporting documentation.
- Support guest relations and management during the absence of reception or administrative personnel.
- Coordinate with suppliers for uniforms, caps, office supplies, and related requirements when needed.
Health, safety, and compliance
- Support workforce health-and-safety activities across the business.
- Stay current with UAE requirements and collaborate with safety personnel to ensure due diligence and compliance.
- Coordinate with Safety Officers on occupational health-and-safety implementation within factory premises.
- Assist with internal security audits and employee health-and-safety awareness activities.
- Liaise with relevant UAE government organizations and support implementation of regulatory changes.
Internal and external audits
- Maintain records for internal and external audits, including social, quality, environmental, and other management-system audits.
- Support audit preparation and participation with the HR & Administration Manager and relevant HR staff.
- Track non-conformities, audit recommendations, corrective actions, and preventive measures.
- Support accommodation and security audit activities.
Organizational development
- Prepare and update HR-related policies, procedures, proposals, special-project documentation, organizational-climate materials, and manuals.
- Establish and maintain HR standard operating procedures in collaboration with the HR team and HR & Administration Manager.
- Maintain strategic-planning and organizational-development records and submit reports as required.
Internal communications
- Implement internal communication plans, including bulletin-board updates, digital HR notice boards, and newsletters.
- Prepare and distribute electronic communications such as memoranda, holiday announcements, circulars, guidelines, and other employee documents.
Candidate profile
- Female candidate, age 23 30.
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 4 5 years of HR experience, including bulk hiring.
- At least 2 3 years' experience in an FMCG or manufacturing organization; multinational-company exposure is preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and HRIS/payroll workflows.
- Knowledge of UAE labour-law administration, HR compliance, audits, and workplace health-and-safety coordination.
- Highly motivated, organized, action-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Strong multitasking and time-management skills in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.
