Role Overview:

Orbit International Survey Services is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead and unify our operations across the UAE and India. This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving operational excellence, quality systems, client relationships, and business growth across both regions. The ideal candidate combines strong technical/QHSE leadership with commercial awareness and the ability to represent the company in front of clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations Leadership (UAE & India)

• Oversee end-to-end operations across UAE and India offices/sites, ensuring consistency in service delivery, quality, and reporting
  
• Act as the single point of accountability for cross-border coordination, aligning teams, processes, and standards between the two regions
  

Quality, HSE & Compliance

• Implement and maintain integrated management systems in line with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018
  
• Lead all external certification and customer audits; manage the internal audit program across UAE and India operations
  
• Oversee inspection, testing, and NDE-related quality processes (PT, MT, RT, UT, VT, welding, material inspection) where applicable to survey/inspection scope
  
• Manage customer complaint resolution, root cause analysis (RCA), and corrective action reporting (CAR)
  

Client & Business Development

• Serve as the senior technical and commercial point of contact for key clients across both regions
  
• Support and actively contribute to sales conversations, proposals, and client relationship growth - this role requires genuine comfort engaging in business development, not just operations
  

Digital & Process Improvement

• Drive digitization of quality/operations documentation (e.g., centralized management portals, mobile tools for field teams)
  
• Lead Lean/continuous improvement initiatives (5S, Kaizen, FMEA, VSM, QCC) to improve efficiency and reduce errors across both regions
  
• Design and maintain operational monitoring systems (daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly tracking)
  

Requirements

• 15–25+ years of progressive experience in operations, quality, or QHSE leadership roles, ideally within survey, inspection, valve, oil & gas, or industrial services sectors
  
• Demonstrated experience managing operations across multiple countries/regions, ideally including both the UAE and India (or GCC + South Asia)
  
• Lead Auditor certification in ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 strongly preferred
  
• NDE/NDT background (ASNT Level II/III, CSWIP, or equivalent) is a strong plus
  
• Comfortable with client-facing responsibilities and supporting sales/business development
  
• Strong documentation, reporting, and digital systems mindset (ERP/SAP familiarity a plus)
  
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical or related) required
  
• Excellent communication skills; ability to lead cross-cultural, cross-border teams
  
• UAE /international Driving License is a mandatory
