Job Details

Role Purpose

To develop creative, functional, and commercially viable interior design concepts for residential, commercial, hospitality, and fit-out projects. The role will manage design development from concept to execution while ensuring alignment with client requirements, project budgets, timelines, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop innovative interior design concepts based on project requirements and client expectations.
2. Prepare space plans, layouts, mood boards, material selections, and design presentations.
3. Create detailed drawings, elevations, sections, joinery details, and construction documentation.
4. Produce 3D visualizations and presentations using appropriate design software.
5. Coordinate with clients, project managers, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and site teams.
6. Ensure designs comply with applicable authority requirements, building regulations, and project standards.
7. Select appropriate finishes, fixtures, furniture, fittings, and materials according to budget and design intent.
8. Conduct site visits and coordinate design implementation with construction teams.
9. Review shop drawings, samples, mock-ups, and material submissions.
10. Monitor design quality, resolve technical issues, and support timely project delivery.
11. Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, specifications, and approvals.

Qualifications and Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related discipline.
2. Proven experience in interior design, fit-out, or architectural projects.
3. Strong knowledge of space planning, materials, finishes, furniture, and construction detailing.
4. Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D visualization tools, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
5. Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, MEP, and shop drawings.
6. Strong creative, technical, communication, and presentation skills.
7. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
8. UAE project experience is preferred.

Preferred Skills

1. Experience in commercial, residential, hospitality, or office fit-out projects.
2. Strong knowledge of UAE materials, suppliers, contractors, and construction practices.
3. Portfolio demonstrating completed design and fit-out projects.
4. UAE Driving Licence is an advantage.
