Senior Process Engineer – Operations and Maintenance

Wood is currently recruiting for a Senior Process Engineer – Operations and Maintenance to join its to join its UAE business unit. The Senior Process Engineer – Operations and Maintenance will provide day to day Process Engineering support for site operations related queries / activities / risks to delivery of safe, reliable and compliant operations. Collaborates with site based team to ensure that identified longer term engineering solutions are progressed to the appropriate team to reduce risk and grow production.
This is a full-time position in Sharjah, UAE.

Reports to: Operations Engineering Manager

Expected:

• BSc or BEng or MEng (UK), BSc (US), or international equivalent in Chemical Engineering or relevant engineering
  subject.
• Professional accreditation – Chartered Engineer or Professional Engineer.

Experience and Job Requirements

• Significant experience in an Operations Process Engineering support role with demonstratable onsite knowledge
  including water treatment and cold gas processing.
• Advanced technical knowledge and experience in engineering, with sound knowledge of the relevant industry codes, standards and regulations, and the ability to initiate guidance on the appropriate designs and systems to prevent, control and mitigate risks.
• Sound stakeholder management experience.
