Specialist General Surgeon

We are seeking a skilled Specialist General Surgeon to join our leading healthcare facility in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in the diagnosis and surgical management of a broad range of general surgical conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patients requiring surgical intervention.
• Perform elective and emergency general surgical procedures.
• Manage conditions involving the gastrointestinal tract, abdomen, hernias, gallbladder, and soft tissues.
• Perform laparoscopic and minimally invasive procedures where appropriate.
• Conduct comprehensive preoperative assessments and develop individualized surgical plans.
• Provide postoperative care and monitor patient recovery.
• Manage surgical emergencies and complications.
• Perform minor surgical procedures and wound management.
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists, gastroenterologists, radiologists, and other specialists.
• Counsel patients regarding treatment options, surgical procedures, risks, and recovery.
• Maintain accurate clinical and surgical documentation.

Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• MS/DNB or equivalent postgraduate qualification in General Surgery.
• Minimum 3 years of post-specialization experience preferred.
• Strong experience in general and laparoscopic surgery.
• Excellent surgical skills and clinical decision-making abilities.
• Strong communication and patient-management skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
