Investment Associate

Job Description

An established investment platform is seeking an Associate to support direct investments and strategic transactions across infrastructure, industrials and other key sectors.

Duties:

• Evaluate new investment opportunities across infrastructure, industrial and other strategic sectors, undertaking detailed financial, commercial and strategic analysis.
  
• Build and review detailed financial models including valuation, returns, capital structure, financing and scenario analysis.
  
• Conduct company, sector and market research to assess industry dynamics, competitive positioning, growth opportunities and key investment risks.
  
• Support the full transaction lifecycle from initial screening and investment thesis development through due diligence, valuation, negotiation, execution and completion.
  
• Prepare investment memoranda, financial analysis and presentation materials for senior management and Investment Committee review.
  

Candidate Profile:

• Approximately 2–4 years’ experience in investment banking, ideally at a bulge bracket or leading advisory firm.
  
• Strong financial modelling and valuation skills, with demonstrable M&A or transaction execution experience.
  
• Sound commercial judgement and the ability to communicate clearly with senior stakeholders.
  
• An opportunity to move into principal investing, with exposure to international transactions and active portfolio ownership.
