Job Description:
People Hive is supporting a client in the search for an experienced Electrical Engineer specializing in Electrical Power Systems to design, analyze and integrate electrical power generation and distribution systems for an electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft.
The successful candidate will ensure safe, reliable and efficient power delivery across aircraft systems, supporting electrical architecture development, battery integration, system testing and certification activities, and will design power generation, distribution and protection architectures in close collaboration with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Critical Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical power systems design
- Strong understanding of electrical power generation, distribution, protection and redundancy architectures
- Very good English communication skills
Important Requirements
- Aerospace or other safety-critical industry experience
- Familiarity with aerospace standards such as DO-160, SAE ARP4761 and SAE ARP5412
- Experience with System Safety Assessments, Failure Hazard Analysis and certification or test plans
- Hands-on experience in electrical system testing, troubleshooting and verification
Nice to Have
- Experience with battery systems, power electronics or electric propulsion systems
- Experience with electrical system analysis tools and engineering methodologies

Employment: Full-time
Salary: AED 35,000–40,000 per month
