Overview
Reporting to the Managing Director, the BD Manager will be primarily accountable for spearheading the sales for the region, establishing strategic partnerships with multiple technology partners, and exceeding expectations by signing channel partnerships in the Middle East. The role provides strategic support by driving business with Government and Large Enterprise customers in the region. The Sales Professional will communicate the benefits of HITEK Software Solutions to drive sales and will serve as the point of contact for business inquiries and prospects, with responsibilities including understanding HITEK’s core business, identifying and educating prospective customers, and supporting existing clients with information and assistance related to products and services. The Sales Professional will manage the end-to-end sales cycle from lead registration to contract award, including value proposition development, site visits, solution development, commercial considerations, partner identification, and risk management. This is a highly networked role that requires the ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and effectively manage oneself and collaborate with the team.
Responsibilities
- Registering, identifying, qualifying, and securing business opportunities; coordinating business generation activities; developing customized targeted sales strategies.
- Building business relationships with current and potential clients; working closely with MD, the BD team and other departments to ensure high-quality BD procedures.
- Understanding client needs and offering solutions and support; answering potential client questions and follow-up calls; responding to RFPs.
- Selling HITEK products, software and services using solid arguments to prospective customers.
- Performing cost-benefit analyses of existing and potential customers.
- Preparing and reviewing the commercial aspects of bids and quotations, ensuring all services are included in the final price to the customer.
- Contributing to the written proposal, including content and presentation (e.g., preparation of a management summary).
- Understanding and resolving complex technical, strategic, and business issues.
- Arranging post-bid reviews with customers following contract awards.
- Building a strong network, visiting clients, and conducting cold calls; making multiple outbound calls to potential clients; driving the closing process.
- Collaborating with management on BD goals, planning, and forecasting; maintaining short- and long-term business development plans.
- Performing other duties as assigned in action plans.
Qualifications
Education / QualificationBachelor’s degree in computer science or similar.ExperienceMinimum 3 years in a similar field (software sales, services, and solution sales), preferably with strong IT / field sales background.Understanding of technical customer-centric solutions.Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.Familiarity with CRM preferred.English required; Arabic preferred.SkillsUnderstanding of relevant laws.Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities.Ability to work autonomously with a self-driven work ethic.Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Excellent verbal and written communication.Detail-oriented and an active listener.Ability to work under pressure.Job Details
