Design Manager - Structural

AHS Properties, a leader in luxury real estate development, is in search of a talented Design Manager – Structural to join our innovative engineering team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for overseeing the structural design aspects of high-end residential and commercial projects, ensuring that all structural elements are safe, efficient, and aligned with the overall architectural vision. Your expertise will be essential in collaborating with architects, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver exceptional results.

Responsibilities

• Lead the structural design process, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices
• Collaborate with architects and other design professionals to integrate structural solutions with architectural designs
• Conduct structural analysis and calculations to ensure the integrity and durability of designs
• Review and approve detailed structural drawings and specifications
• Coordinate with construction teams to resolve any issues related to structural design during the construction phase
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including design reports and construction details
• Conduct site inspections to monitor compliance with design specifications and safety standards
• Stay current with advancements in structural engineering and construction methods

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Structural Engineering or a related field
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in structural design, preferably within the luxury real estate sector
• Proven experience managing structural design projects from concept through completion
• Strong portfolio illustrating completed structural engineering projects
• Proficient in structural design software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS, AutoCAD)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required
• Familiarity with sustainable design practices and principles is a plus.
