As a Senior Design Manager , you will lead and manage the design process throughout the project lifecycle. You will work closely with clients, design consultants, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives meet client requirements and expectations.

You will assist the Programme Director / Design Director or Senior Project Manager in ensuring scope delivery aligns with AtkinsRalis and client expectations.

Responsibilities :

• Ensure adherence to AtkinsRalis processes, forms, and deliverables, and when required, client processes and forms.
• Assist in developing scope of services for Lead Design Consultants (LDC).
• Manage and assist with the procurement of Design Consultants.
• Develop and implement the Design Management Plan (DMP).
• Create a design responsibility matrix to clarify roles among the Client, PMC, Design Consultants, and other stakeholders.
• Assist in developing the Project Quality Plan.
• Manage the LDC to deliver quality outputs on time, within budget, and to client expectations.
• Oversee and coordinate the activities of Design Consultants throughout the project, functioning as the management lead for design and technical reviews.
• Facilitate communication between the client and the LDC team.
• Manage the design process, including weekly progress meetings, workshops, stage gate submissions, and approvals.
• Review consultant deliverables to ensure compliance with project brief and client requirements.
• Assist with stakeholder meetings, agendas, minutes, and presentations.
• Coordinate project documentation updates with Document Controllers.
• Support change management processes, including risk management, cost, and schedule control.
• Assist in value management during design stages.
• Manage BIM compliance with project requirements, supported by the BIM manager.
• Oversee sustainability compliance, assisted by LEED support.
• Develop statutory approval workflows in line with client and authority requirements.
• Prepare technical documentation for construction tenders.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

10-15 years of experience as a design manager, preferably on hospitality projects.
