Director of the Training Center
Overview
To lead and develop the Training Center as a strategic driver of human capital development by formulating plans and mechanisms to identify and assess the training needs of the target audience across all fields; designing training programs; establishing performance indicators for the Center’s activities and initiatives; and contributing to the achievement of its objectives by supervising and monitoring all execution activities associated with the relevant operational plan, ensuring the development of national capacity, the enhancement of cadres’ readiness, and the delivery of a proactive, effective training experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or human resources, or an equivalent in a related field.
- Master’s degree in business administration or human resources, or an equivalent in related field.
- Ph.D. degree in business administration or human resources, or an equivalent in related field.
Experience
Bachelor’s degree, with 13 years’ experience in the same field, including 6 years in supervisory positions.Master’s degree, with 11 years’ experience in the same field, including 4 years in supervisory positions.Ph.D. degree, with 8 years’ experience in the same field.Specialized-General Responsibilities
Develop and implement training strategies and policies in alignment with the national agenda, the vision of the UAE Government, and the insights derived from proactive data analysis.Oversee the delivery of high-quality training programs and ensure that curricula meet regulatory requirements, professional standards, and accreditation criteria.Lead institutional initiatives that strengthen organizational commitment and instill a culture of innovation and excellence, while evaluating their impact on the organizational performance.Manage the Center’s staff performance through smart systems, linking outcomes to individualized development plans.Prepare, execute, and monitor the Center’s operational plan, and assess program effectiveness using feedback and performance indicators.Strengthen strategic partnerships with government and private sector entities, as well as international organizations, to exchange best training practices.Prepare the Center’s draft annual budget, oversee its implementation, and evaluate its outcomes.Assess and continuously enhance administrative and technical training tools, and adopt innovative digital solutions.Develop professional training plans for the Center’s instructional and administrative staff.Direct and monitor expenditure control and rationalization within the Center.Manage the Center’s financial resources and ensure expenditures rationalization through smart financial systems to ensure budgetary sustainability and efficiency.Evaluate the performance of the Center’s training and administrative staff.Enhance and streamline the Center’s work methods and procedures.Establish and update the Center’s internal policies and work procedures.Perform any other duties within the scope of responsibility.Flexibility and agility.Making smart and effective decisions.Focusing on the government’s ultimate objectives and achieving results.Innovation and driving transformational change.Familiarity with future advanced technologies.Willingness to work at all times.Ability to empower others.Being a good role-model.Openness to the world.Strategic thinking.Setting strategic priorities.Empowerment and delegation of authority.Familiarity with all policies, procedures, and regulations related to the field of work.Ability to organize and plan daily tasks.Ability to work under pressure and overcome challenges and problems.Familiarity with the ECSSR’s products.Familiarity with information sources.Ability to analyze data and draw conclusions.Familiarity with future anticipation tools.Proficiency in the English language.#J-18808-Ljbffr
