Tax Manager Direct & Indirect Tax in Dubai

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Chartered Accountant (CA) to join our tax practice as a Tax Manager specializing in both Direct and Indirect Tax across client assignments. This is a client-facing advisory and compliance role where you will work closely with a portfolio of local and international clients to deliver strategic tax solutions aligned with UAE tax laws and international standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage client engagements related to UAE Corporate Tax and VAT compliance and advisory
• Provide strategic tax planning and structuring support across various industry sectors
• Advise clients on FTA compliance, tax registration, return filing, tax health checks and audit representation
• Interpret and apply UAE tax regulations to client-specific scenarios including recent developments in Corporate Tax
• Deliver indirect tax advisory services including VAT impact analysis, transaction structuring and supply chain planning
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure high-quality and timely deliverables
• Draft well-researched tax memos, client reports and technical documentation
• Assist clients during tax audits and manage communication with authorities on their behalf

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory
• 4 8 years of relevant experience in Direct & Indirect Tax preferably with a professional services firm or tax consultancy
• Proven experience working on client-side assignments across various industries
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax frameworks including FTA regulations and procedures
• Ability to interpret and apply tax laws and double tax treaties
• Strong communication, analytical and client relationship management skills
• Proficiency in tax tools, MS Excel and report writing
