Job Description

Talented and driven lead QS required to support in the management of and drive the UAE Cost Management Team. You will play a crucial role in providing expert cost management and consultancy services for various construction projects across the region.

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects of varying scales and complexities
• Conduct cost analysis and value engineering to optimize project costs without compromising quality
• Develop and maintain cost models, benchmarks, and databases to support accurate cost planning
• Prepare and analyze bills of quantities, tender documents, and contract documentation
• Provide expert advice on procurement strategies and contract administration
• Monitor and report on project costs, including cash flow forecasts and cost-to-complete estimates
• Identify and mitigate potential cost risks throughout the project lifecycle
• Negotiate with contractors and suppliers to ensure best value for clients
• Prepare monthly cost reports and presentations for clients and project stakeholders
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, and project managers
• Stay updated on local building codes, regulations, and industry trends in Dubai and the UAE
• Support and mentor younger team members
• Assist with business development and growth

This is a client facing role and the candidate will be responsible for presenting cost plans / estimates and discussing strategic commercial responses on a portfolio of projects.
