Process Engineer

In the Middle East Bilfinger is one of the leading service providers of engineering and consultancy services project management construction maintenance O M and life cycle services We enhance the efficiency of our clients assets ensure a high level of availability and reduce maintenance costs With our 4 employees we are a leading German corporation where engineering excellence safety and quality are part of our DNA With four entities in the Middle East Bilfinger Tebodin Middle East Bilfinger Deutsche Babcock Emirates Babcock Borsig Service Arabia Babcock Borsig Steinmuller Kuwait and over 10 offices across the region we offer job opportunities that allow you to utilize all your knowledge and experience Are you looking for a chance to put your skills to their bestpossible use Then we have what you are looking for Key Responsibilities Develop process flow diagrams PFDs piping and instrumentation diagrams P IDs heat and material balances H MB Perform process simulations calculations and equipment sizing pumps compressors heat exchangers reactors separators etc Ensure designs comply with industry standards client specifications safety regulations and project requirements Provide technical support in feasibility studies conceptual design FEED and detailed engineering phases Prepare process datasheets for equipment and instruments Review vendor documents and coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams Support HAZOP SIL and other safety reviews Participate in commissioning startup and troubleshooting activities Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and innovative design solutions Qualifications Skills Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent 23 years of relevant experience in process design preferably in oil gas petrochemical or related industries Proficiency in process simulation software e g Aspen HYSYS Aspen Plus PROII UniSim Strong knowledge of international codes and standards API ASME ISO NFPA etc Excellent analytical problemsolving and technical writing skills Strong communication and teamwork abilities
