Planning Engineer

Key Responsibilities Develop detailed construction project schedules using planning software e g Primavera P6 MS Project Monitor project progress against schedules and update timelines accordingly Coordinate with project managers engineers and contractors to ensure workflow efficiency Identify potential delays and recommend corrective actions Assist in resource planning including labor materials and equipment Prepare progress reports and communicate schedule status to stakeholders Review and analyze project plans drawings and specifications for scheduling implications Support risk management and mitigation strategies related to project timelines Ensure compliance with contractual deadlines and client requirements Qualifications Experience Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering Construction Management or related field 3 5 years of experience in construction planning or project management Proficiency in project scheduling software such as Primavera P6 MS Project or similar Knowledge of construction methods materials and project management principles
