SWATX is seeking an engineer to support the client environment, facilitating the client's adoption, ongoing improvement, and operation of the Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) for a duration of six (6) months, extendable up to one (1) year.
Resident engineer responsibilities :
- One engineer will work on the client environment
- Level 1 support for troubleshooting and fixing issues
- On 8x5 mode during official working hours for 5 days / week
- Perform daily operation and administration tasks
- Perform configuration changes
- Apply patches and security updates
- Perform periodical Health Checks
- Support in backup and restore
- Deliver knowledge transfer session (monthly.
- Provide clear documentations to enable and educate Client team on Red Hat products and technologies

Red Hat will provide engineers to support client with the configuration of OpenShift Container Platform, including :Providing advice, general knowledge transfer and configuration of Red Hat OpenShiftActing as the primary RedHat subject matter expert and point of contact for communication, accountability and escalation paths with the customer team.Support with day-2 operations, re-configuration, and planning customer’s Red Hat OpenShift operating environment,Support with providing Red Hat OpenShift performance tuning and optimization.Support with performing system diagnosis and resolution of customer Red Hat OpenShift related issues.Support with upgrades and patches installationSupport with on-boarding of tenants on openshift clustersSupport with the deployment of additional nodesThe engineer will support also in the following areas :
