We are seeking a talented and passionate Commi 2 Baker to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a Commi 2 Baker, you will play a crucial role in our kitchen, assisting senior bakers in creating a wide range of high-quality baked goods while honing your skills and contributing to our culinary excellence.

• Assist in preparing and baking various types of bread, pastries, and desserts according to recipes and quality standards
• Measure and weigh ingredients accurately, ensuring consistency in all baked products
• Operate and maintain baking equipment, including ovens, mixers, and other kitchen tools
• Monitor baking processes and adjust temperatures or baking times as needed
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to meet production schedules and deadlines
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards
• Assist in inventory management and stock rotation of baking ingredients and supplies
• Support senior bakers in developing new recipes and improving existing ones
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in a professional bakery or kitchen setting
• Food safety certification (required)
• Culinary diploma or certificate with a focus on baking (preferred)
• Proficiency in various baking techniques, including bread, pastries, and desserts
• Skilled in using baking equipment and following recipes accurately
• Strong time management and organizational skills, with ability to multitask
• Excellent teamwork and communication abilities
• Understanding of food hygiene and safety standards
• Knowledge of ingredient properties and their interactions in baking
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items when necessary
