Specification And Marketing Engineer – MEP Solutions

The Role Key Responsibilities

• Establish and strengthen relationships with MEP consultants, design practices, engineering firms, and architectural offices.
• Deliver technical presentations, workshops, and lunch-and-learn sessions to introduce and highlight MEP solutions.
• Identify, track, and follow up on project opportunities through consultant interactions and project databases.
• Secure inclusion of company products in project specifications and approvals during initial design and planning stages.
• Prepare, review, and submit technical submittals, compliance documents, and related approval requirements.
• Stay updated on international standards (ASHRAE, BS, NFPA, etc.) and local authority codes / regulations.
• Work closely with internal technical, sales, and marketing teams to ensure effective product positioning.
• Represent the company at exhibitions, seminars, and industry networking platforms.
• Monitor project progression across design, tender, and execution phases to maintain influence and ensure continuity. Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role within the MEP or building materials sector.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems and related materials (e.g., HVAC ducts, insulation, conduits, valves, cabling, etc.).
• Demonstrated experience working with consultants and knowledge of the specification / approval process.
• Fluent in English and Arabic
