Overview
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, with a particular focus on chemical and petrochemical logistics operations. This role ensures compliance with safety standards, legal requirements, and industry best practices, while achieving productivity targets and delivering customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatch.
- Manage and supervise warehouse staff, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure strict compliance with Dangerous Goods (DG) handling procedures, chemical storage regulations, and HSSE (Health, Safety, Security & Environment) requirements.
- Oversee the safe and compliant management of chemical and petrochemical logistics warehouses.
- Develop and implement processes to optimize inventory control, reduce shrinkage, and improve accuracy.
- Monitor KPIs and report on warehouse performance, ensuring cost efficiency and timely delivery.
- Collaborate with supply chain, procurement, and logistics teams to align warehouse operations with business objectives.
- Oversee the use and maintenance of warehouse equipment, ensuring proper safety checks and upkeep.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and service levels.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field (preferred).Must have experience in leading warehouses from 10,000 to 40,000 sq mMandatory Dangerous Goods (DG) qualification.Proven expertise in managing chemical and petrochemical logistics warehouses.Minimum 5 years’ experience in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain management.Strong leadership and team management skills.Proven ability to implement process improvements and manage KPIs.Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software.Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.Results-driven and customer-focused.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.High attention to detail and accuracy.Deep commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.#J-18808-Ljbffr
