General Manager (Revenue & Operations) — COO-Track

Company : alist.ae — the UAE’s most innovative influencer marketing platform

Location : Dubai, UAE

Salary : AED 15,000 – 25,000

Why this role exists

We’re scaling alist.ae from a Dubai powerhouse to a global platform. We need a General Manager who operates like a COO and acts as an extension of the Founder / CEO — owning revenue, orchestrating operations, and leading expansion. You’ll combine strategic horsepower with hands-on execution : build the machine and drive it yourself. This includes overlooking all company tasks across divisions, with a primary focus on revenue (sales and marketing) , while ensuring every department scales and operates in sync.

What you’ll own

Revenue leadership

  • Own top-line growth (new, expansion, and retention).
  • Design and run GTM plays per vertical (F&B, Travel / Hospitality, Fashion / Beauty, Tech, etc.).
  • Tighten pricing, packaging, and funnels across Essential → Enterprise tiers.

Hands-on closing & client relationships

  • Personally originate and close strategic deals; be the benchmark closer.
  • Build and nurture C-level relationships with brands / agencies.
  • Lead and enable the commercial team to do the same (cadences, scripts, SLAs, enablement).
  • Market expansion

  • Launch and scale new markets (KSA, London, LA, Benelux, and beyond).
  • Build market playbooks, recruit first boots-on-ground, set targets, and ensure P&L accountability.
  • Team & operating cadence

  • Architect org design across Sales, Success, Marketing, Product / Eng collaboration, and Ops.
  • Run the weekly / quarterly operating rhythm (goals → plans → reviews → retros).
  • Hire, mentor, and uplevel managers; set performance bars and accountability.
  • Overlook all divisions to ensure alignment, accountability, and operational excellence across the company.
  • RevOps & performance systems

  • Stand up dashboards for pipeline, NRR, CAC / LTV, gross margin, creator supply, and fulfillment.
  • Standardize workflows from lead → demo → proposal → campaign → reporting → renewal.
  • Ensure quality controls (content moderation, SLAs, campaign QA) at scale.
  • Partnerships & ecosystem

  • Build strategic partnerships with enterprises, agencies, and tech platforms.
  • Represent alist.ae in the market — events, panels, and key accounts.
  • What success looks like (12-month outcomes)

  • Revenue : +X% YoY total revenue; MRR +Y%; Net Revenue Retention ≥ 120%.
  • New business : ≥ Z strategic logos won; average deal size +A%; sales cycle -B%.
  • Margins & efficiency : Gross margin +C pts; CAC / LTV ≥ 1 : 4; payback ≤ 6 months.
  • Client love : NPS ≥ 50; retention ≥ 90%; enterprise case studies live.
  • Supply & delivery : Creator activation +D%; campaign on-time delivery ≥ 98%.
  • Expansion : Launch ≥ 2 new markets to ARR ≥ $E within 6–9 months each.
  • Your first 90 days

    Days 0–30 — Diagnose

  • Deep-dive pipeline, ICPs, win / loss, pricing, funnel leakage, delivery bottlenecks.
  • Meet top 50 accounts & high-potential prospects; start a personal closing pipeline.
  • Audit org, roles, KPIs, and current operating cadence.
  • Days 31–60 — Design

  • Ship a focused Revenue Plan per vertical and tier (Essential → Enterprise).
  • Lock a crisp expansion playbook for next market (team, budget, targets, timeline).
  • Finalize dashboards, forecast model, and weekly review rituals.
  • Days 61–90 — Deliver

  • Run a 3-deal Must-Win Program you personally quarterback.
  • Hire / upgrade 2–3 critical roles (e.g., Sales Manager, AM, RevOps).
  • Kick off first market rollout; hit first revenue milestones.
  • What you bring

  • 8–12+ years leading revenue and operations in high-growth tech (marketplace, MarTech / AdTech, SaaS).
  • Proven closer with enterprise relationship-building chops and a track record of scaling teams.
  • Launched or scaled multiple markets with P&L ownership.
  • Strong RevOps mindset : forecasting, dashboards, process design, and GTM tooling.
  • Cross-functional leader who can align Sales, Success, Marketing, Product, and Ops.
  • World-class communication; excellent English ( Arabic a plus ).
