Senior QA / QC

Job Overview :

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior QA / QC with a strong background in civil and infrastructure construction. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of ensuring quality control and quality assurance on construction projects, as well as a thorough understanding of industry standards and regulations. This is a full-time, permanent position with opportunities for growth and advancement within our company.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in QA / QC roles in the construction industry, with a focus on civil and infrastructure projects
• Strong knowledge of quality control principles, practices, and procedures
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, such as ISO 9001 and ASTM
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with project teams and stakeholders
• Detail-oriented and able to identify and resolve quality issues
• Proven leadership and supervisory skills
• Experience with quality control software and tools is a plus.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement quality control and quality assurance procedures for construction projects
• Monitor and assess the quality of materials, workmanship, and processes on site
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards
• Identify and report any quality issues or non-conformities, and work with project teams to resolve them
• Review and approve quality control documents, including inspection reports, test results, and quality plans
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure quality standards are met
• Provide guidance and training to project teams on quality control processes and procedures
• Participate in project meetings and communicate quality-related updates and issues to stakeholders
• Keep up-to-date with industry standards and regulations and ensure compliance on all projects
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective action processes for quality issues
• Develop and maintain quality control records and documentation for each project
• Mentor and supervise junior QA / QC staff as needed.
