Overview

Technical Product Manager (Contract – Remote). Our firm is seeking a Technical Product Manager to lead the coordination, execution, and delivery of our client-facing platform. This role bridges the gap between engineering and business stakeholders, helping the team prioritise effectively and build with clarity. The position is fully remote and offered on a contract basis, with a competitive hourly rate.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with engineering, design, and leadership to define and prioritise product features
  • Translate business requirements into clear technical specifications and user stories
  • Manage the product backlog and ensure alignment with overall roadmap and delivery timelines
  • Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and blockers, and proactively address them
  • Ensure documentation is up to date and clear across design, development, and QA stages
  • Monitor performance metrics post-launch and lead iteration cycles based on user and stakeholder feedback

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a product management role, ideally in a startup or early-stage environment
  • Technical background or familiarity with modern software development practices (agile, CI / CD, APIs, cloud infrastructure)
  • Strong understanding of web application architecture and cross-functional team workflows
  • Experience working with tools such as Jira, Notion, or Linear for backlog and sprint management
  • Exceptional communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining close alignment with engineering and leadership teams

    • Nice to Have

  • Experience working on developer-facing products or internal tooling
  • Familiarity with Figma or participation in early UI / UX collaboration
  • Exposure to performance monitoring, analytics, or A / B testing tools
  • Ability to conduct basic user research or stakeholder interviews
  • 6-month contract, with potential for extension based on project needs and performance
  • Fully remote working arrangement
