Overview

Courier Supervisor — We are in need of a dedicated and experienced Courier Supervisor to join our team in Dubai. As a Courier Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our courier services, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of packages and documents to our clients. You will also be responsible for managing a team of couriers, assigning routes and schedules, and monitoring their performance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the courier services department
• Assign routes and schedules to couriers
• Monitor the performance of couriers to ensure timely and efficient delivery
• Train new couriers on company policies and procedures
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, expenses, and other relevant data
• Evaluate current processes and suggest improvements for increased efficiency
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• Keep track of inventory levels for supplies needed by couriers

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; degree in logistics or related field preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a courier or logistics company
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Customer service oriented with the ability to handle inquiries and complaints professionally
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Employment Details

This is a contract position with an initial salary of 1300$, but opportunities for growth within the company are available for exceptional performers.
