Job Summary
The Marine Electrical & Electronics Technician is responsible for ensuring optimal performance, safety, and reliability of boats and marine engines. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical and electronic systems while delivering high-quality service and professional customer support. The technician will work across a variety of boats and engines, following manufacturer standards and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed inspections, diagnostics, and testing to identify root causes of electrical, electronic, or performance-related issues.
- Perform repair, servicing, and maintenance of marine electrical and electronic systems.
- Adhere to manufacturer-recommended service schedules and carry out routine inspections and preventive maintenance to extend equipment lifespan.
- Maintain and manage inventory of spare parts, ensuring availability of frequently used components. Identify, order, and document required parts accurately.
- Perform post-repair testing and performance checks to ensure systems meet quality standards and customer expectations.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, spare parts usage, service reports, and work orders. Submit detailed reports to the line manager.
- Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner, addressing concerns, explaining repairs, and advising on proper maintenance and performance optimization.
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Properly handle tools, equipment, and hazardous materials, and comply with environmental regulations for waste disposal.
- Support continuous improvement of service quality and operational efficiency.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent.Technical training or certification in Electrical, Electronics, or a related field.Strong knowledge of boats, marine engines, electrical systems, and their operation.Proven ability to diagnose and repair electrical and electronic faults.Familiarity with marine diagnostic tools and testing equipment.Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.High attention to detail and ability to work with precision.Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.Ability to work independently and manage time and tasks efficiently.Fluency in English (written and spoken); Arabic language skills are an advantage.Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.Willingness to travel as per job requirements.Interested one share your resume to [HIDDEN TEXT]
