Role Overview

You will lead the full PR & communications function, strategy, execution, messaging, reputation, and intelligence. You will define how the company is perceived by media, partners, users, investors, and the broader Web3 ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities Communication & PR Strategy

  • Build and lead a global PR and communications strategy from scratch.
  • Define the long-term narrative positioning the company as a category leader in fintech and Web3.
  • Advise founders and leadership on communication priorities, risks, and opportunities.

Media Relations

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with top-tier global media across fintech, crypto, and business.
  • Secure consistent features, interviews, commentary, and leadership coverage.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all media inquiries.

    • Crisis & Reputation Management

  • Lead crisis communications planning and response.
  • Prepare statements, Q&As, and escalation frameworks for sensitive situations.
  • Identify early reputation risks and act proactively.

    • Messaging & Narrative Development

  • Create and maintain a comprehensive messaging architecture for the company, product, and leadership.
  • Ensure message consistency across press, product updates, community channels, and internal communication.

    • Content & Executive Communication

  • Write high-quality press releases, pitches, announcements, narratives, and leadership content.
  • Prepare briefing docs, talking points, and speech notes for executives.
  • Support founders in refining their communication style and public presence.

    • Cross-Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with community, marketing, and sentiment teams to stay aligned with user insights and narrative trends.
  • Partner with product and design teams to ensure cohesive copy and brand voice across all product surfaces and marketing materials.

    • Online Event Support

  • Support AMAs, livestreams, virtual launches, and online events.
  • Prepare messaging frameworks, talking points, and post-event communication.

    • Monitoring, Reporting & Intelligence

  • Set up and maintain systems for media monitoring, sentiment analysis, and narrative trend tracking.
  • Produce weekly and monthly reports with insights and recommended actions.

    • Agency & Budget Ownership

  • Manage PR budgets and external agencies or contractors.
  • Identify new tools, partners, and platforms to scale communication efforts.

    • What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of senior PR, communications, or media experience (fintech / crypto / startup strongly preferred).
  • Proven track record securing high-impact, global media coverage.
  • Strong crisis and reputation management experience.
  • Exceptional writing, messaging, and narrative-building skills.
  • Fully autonomous operator—comfortable building systems and processes from the ground up.
  • Confident working directly with founders and senior leadership.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience leveraging sentiment and narrative data.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with high ownership.
  • Excellent English; native-level preferred.
