Operator (Fuelling) — ADNOC Group
Job Purpose : Performs safe and timely re-fuelling / de-fuelling of aircrafts in full compliance with Aviation Standards, Airport Regulations and ADNOC standards and requirements in a safe and efficient manner. Coordinates with customer representatives at the aircraft and reports all customer feedback, operational and safety issues and vehicle defects to the supervisor and maintenance team. Performs quality control checks on product as per ADNOC Aviation Division Quality Control procedures. Performs the job safely in line with HSE policy, Airport Safety and regulations and ADNOC Integrated Management System.
Fuelling Operations
- Refuel and defuel customer aircrafts as per assigned schedule, ensuring operations are carried out properly and efficiently in accordance with company standards.
- Receive all relevant details (amount of fuel, type of dispenser or fueller, aircraft parking, Gate No., type of Aircraft, etc.) before conducting fuelling operations.
- Check fuelling vehicle before proceeding to an aircraft to ensure no defects; report malfunctions to supervisor for action.
- Drive to apron within speed limits; position refuelling vehicle near aircraft; connect bonding hoses to aircraft and hydrant pit as applicable.
- Secure hoses and nozzle as per standards; disconnect after fuelling operations.
- During fuelling, monitor safety around the vehicle, drive to fuelling point, connect hose, start fuelling, take samples, disconnect hose, and complete receipt documentation.
- Complete related documentation and obtain signatures from the customer’s representative or agent; provide signed copies as required.
- Drive safely after fuelling operations to depot or to next aircraft; ensure safety of property and apron staff.
- Maintain constant vigilance on fuelling process, vehicle, and surrounding operations.
- Verify fuel requirement with aircraft technician / pilot and commence fuelling per instruction.
- Perform product visual checks as per Aviation Quality Manual during and after fuelling.
Refuelling with Refueller Vehicle
Check available quantity in assigned refueller and operate according to airport safety and security rules.Position refueller safely and connect fuelling equipment as per Aviation Operating Manual.Verify fuel requirement with aircraft technician / pilot and start fuelling per instruction.Complete delivery ticket process via car PC or manual ticket.Disconnect fuelling equipment as per Aviation Operation Manual and verify hoses are in place.Load the Refueller Vehicle when required per supervisor instructions.Defueling
Position the Refueler safely and verify flight details; take samples and perform Quality Control Check as per Aviation Operations Manual.Connect fuelling equipment as per Aviation Operating Manual; verify defuel requirement with aircraft technician / pilot and start defueling per instruction.Stop defueling based on refueler capacity and technician advice; complete the delivery ticket process.Disconnect defueling equipment as per Aviation Operation Manual and verify hoses are in place.Inform shift supervisor about defueling completion and await further instruction.HSE
Follow emergency plans and evacuation procedures; use safety equipment and fire extinguishers.Participate in HSE campaigns, training, awareness sessions and initiatives to meet objectives per each.Ensure compliance with PPE and other safety regulations during operations.Report incidents and near misses immediately to the supervisor.Follow company emergency and operations procedures and participate in drills.Fire-Fighting Operations
Carry out regular rounds of critical areas to ensure fire equipment is in working condition.Inspect, clean and test firefighting apparatus and equipment to ensure readiness.Respond to alarms, determine approach, connect hoses to hydrants, and firefight as required.Participate in emergency actions to ensure quick response.Product Quality
Take regular fuel samples before, during and after fuelling to check fuel quality; perform quality checks on fixed / mobile equipment as required.Equipment Maintenance
Perform regular serviceability checks of fuelling equipment; carry out depot / apron manual tasks and maintain logs; replenish refuellers as needed.Top up Gas oil on mobile units as needed; report defects to shift supervisor and log in maintenance logbook.Customer Support
Provide help and support to customers as needed; guide customers to safe practices and report concerns to the shift supervisor.Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills
Secondary / high School Certificate.3 years of experience as Fuelling operator.Professional Certifications
UAE valid manual heavy-duty driving license.UAE valid light-duty driving license (Preferably Manual).Valid Forklift license (As per the site requirement)Employment type : Full-time | Industry : Oil and Gas
