Procurement Engineer (Civil/Construction)

Black & Grey HR is recruiting for a leading construction and fit-out company in Dubai, UAE. Our client is seeking a Procurement Engineer with a civil engineering background to manage end-to-end procurement for construction projects—ensuring the right materials, cost efficiency, and timely delivery to site.Key Responsibilities:- Review project BOQs, drawings, and specs to determine material requirements.- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers/subcontractors for civil materials (steel, cement, MEP, finishes).- Prepare RFQs, compare bids, and issue purchase orders.- Coordinate with site teams to align deliveries with project schedules.- Inspect materials on-site for quality and compliance.- Identify cost-saving and value-engineering opportunities.- Maintain supplier relationships and performance records.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering.- 5+ years as a Procurement Engineer/Officer in UAE building contracting.- Strong knowledge of civil materials, construction standards, and local regulations.- Able to read technical drawings and BOQs.- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.- Valid UAE driving license preferred.
