Join Our Team : Accountant Fixed Asset at EtihadWE. We are seeking a talented and experienced Accountant Fixed Asset . In this key role, you will prepare the accounting functions related to EtihadWE’s fixed asset portfolio. This involves capitalization, tracking, reporting, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards such as IFRS.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate records of fixed asset, including acquisitions, disposal, and transfers.
• Review cost booked and ensure only CAPEX is capitalized in the Fixed Asset Module in SAP.
• Obtain capitalization templates for all completed projects from respective technical teams and capitalize in a timely manner without delays.
• Ensure timely monthly and year end closing activities related to fixed asset.
• Assist in the preparation of fixed asset schedules and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor and follow-up on CAPEX Projects and obtain expected completion dates for all ongoing projects.
• Prepare JV for inventory provision for slow / non-moving inventory.
• Actively participate in annual physical stock take exercise and fixed assets verification.
• Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes by providing fixed asset data.
• Calculate and post depreciation and amortization entries in accordance with IFRS.
• Monitor asset life cycles and recommend adjustment as necessary.
• Prepare documentation and support materials for internal and external audits related to fixed assets.
• Assist in addressing auditor inquiries and ensuring compliance with audit requirements.
