How you will make an impact (Key responsibilities):
1. Machine Operation & Monitoring
- Operate and monitor production machines including blow molding, injection molding, filling, capping, and labeling lines.
- Start up and shut down equipment following standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Perform minor machine adjustments and promptly report mechanical issues to the maintenance team.
- Support material loading, changeovers, and ensure smooth machine performance throughout shifts.
2. Quality Control & Compliance
- Inspect bottles for defects, leaks, or irregularities and remove non-conforming products.
- Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and maintain hygiene standards in the work area.
- Ensure all products meet quality specifications and report any deviations immediately.
- Follow safety protocols and report unsafe conditions or incidents to the supervisor.
3. Production Reporting & Documentation
- Accurately record production data such as output, waste, machine downtime, and changeover times in production logs or digital systems.
- Maintain proper documentation for compliance audits and operational tracking to support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Communicate production status, issues, and improvement suggestions to supervisors for timely resolution and workflow optimization.
4. Packaging & Material Handling
- Assist in packaging operations, including palletizing, shrink-wrapping, and labeling finished goods for storage or shipment, ensuring proper stacking and load stability.
- Handle raw materials such as preforms, caps, and labels efficiently to prevent production delays and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of materials to preserve product integrity and prevent contamination or damage.
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in machine operation or manufacturing processes is an advantage.
- 1–3 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, preferably in beverage or packaging industries.
- Knowledge of operating and monitoring machines such as blow molding, injection molding, filling, capping, and labeling lines.
- Ability to perform minor machine adjustments and troubleshoot basic operational issues.
- Familiarity with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Understanding of quality control standards and ability to identify product defects.
- Commitment to maintaining hygiene and safety protocols in the workplace.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in reporting production data.
- Good communication skills for reporting issues and collaborating with team members.
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to work under minimal supervision.
- Basic computer literacy for data entry and production reporting.
