JOB DESCRIPTION AND REQUIREMENTS
Mission
- Ensure safe commissioning, start-up and maintenance execution of Instrumentation and Control Systems, compliant with HSE rules, legislative regulations and international std.
- Set and promote Leadership in Safety attitudes
- Bring leadership and supervision and provide support to team members in terms of technical and individual performance capability
- Be responsible for supporting the close out of any gaps in the competency standards for all team members
- Act as the Cyber Security Officer (CySO) in line with IMO maritime instruments, where applicable as per Organization Chart
Tasks
Commissioning and Start-Up Execution
Ensures that all activities within his area of responsibilities are done in full compliance with the HSE requirementsAcknowledge the involvement of its job role in the PTW system and verifies the safety measures described in the PTW for its job role involvement, including area preparation and restorationIdentifies and control hazards to avoid damage to equipment, personnel and the environmentExecutes the Tests / Inspections on Control System according to the Project documentation, together with his team of technicians and with VendorsLog the Test results into the approved Tests / Inspection forms and reportsMaintenance Execution
Ensure that the services are carried out in strict compliance with Company and Client current HSE rulesPlan Preventive and Corrective Maintenance operations (routine and short-term)Coordinate all Contractor personnel for the smooth execution of the servicesMaintenance planningAnticipate, plan and request the logistical means necessary for smooth maintenance operations, taking into account the various constraints when planning and carrying out operationsTake part of site coordination meetingsEnsure the Preparation of Maintenance reports for submission to CompanyEnsure the movement of spare parts according to the requirements of Maintenance operationsCheck and validate all technical reports in CMMS and ensure work history is comprehensively recorded in line with CMMSdata quality requirements
Carry out appropriate reporting, on the progress of maintenance operations and, if necessary, on difficulties encounteredEnsure the Contractor Personnel complete and record all handovers (daily, weekly and rotation)Technical Support / Methods
Ensure the appropriateness of the operating and maintenance procedures employed by his crews and, if necessary, suggests improvementsEnsure coordination between maintenance Operations and Preparation teamsKeep an up-to-date list of works that cannot be performed except during inspections of machines or shutdownsKeep files of requests for studies of modifications and improvementsSuggest corrective measures if a Maintenance backlog could become unmanageableMaintain a permanent anticipation on the potential problems that could occur in the production plant, with close relationship with other sections, in order to prevent non-productive or non-efficient operationsAct as focal point for cyber security mattersEnsure compliance with the cyber security model established by the Company and with the applicable standards, where applicable as per Organization ChartTeam Leading
Be responsible for own teams on site, specifically :
Organize the rotation schedules of own teamsIdentify the training needs of his teams and make training requests as appropriatePropose all necessary adjustments related to the Nationalization planPropose appraisal and Competence assessment for own staffSet expectations, coach and mentor technicians with regards to acceptable attitudes and behaviorsDemonstrate commitment to safety through language, behavior and actionsEnsure the correct behavior of his teams in accordance with the general safety regulations of the subsidiary and, if needed, take the necessary corrective measuresEnsure all necessary controls to mitigate risks and / or eliminate hazardsPerformance monitoring via regular observation of working practices, assessing compliance with safe systems of work and work instructionsAct as focal point for cyber security mattersEnsure compliance with the cyber security model established by the Company and with the applicable standards, where applicable as per Organization ChartHow to Apply :
