We are now looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer ( Construction Management experience ) to lead the discipline in executing projects and supporting bids in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Reports To

The Senior Engineer (Construction Management experience) reports to the Head of Discipline, Senior Electrical Engineer .

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer with construction experience in 132kV High Voltage Substation projects within the Oil and Gas sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for all electrical construction activities including 132kV & 33KV GIS Switchgear, Power Transformers, SCMS, PMS, 132kV and 33kV cable pulling, and knowledge of Synchronization systems and Philosophy, in consultation with the Lead Engineer, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and project timelines.

Responsibilities include closely monitoring the execution of daily electrical construction activities, ensuring alignment with project specifications, quality standards, and schedule. The candidate will coordinate closely with a multidisciplinary team and interface on the project. All construction activities shall be in accordance with ADNOC HSE policy.

Safety Management :

Promote and enforce a strong safety culture, ensuring all construction activities comply with safety regulations and guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 15 years of experience in Oil & Gas and at least 8 years in a lead role.
• Good verbal and written communication skills, leadership and coordination abilities, and an analytic and proactive approach in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and Chemical Industries.
• Knowledge of industry-specific software, such as AutoCAD, Navisworks, and other computer-aided design tools.
