Key Responsibilities :
- Sales and Business Development : Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the defence sector. Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth for high-value defenceequipment and services.
- Client Relations : Build and maintain strong relationships with government officials, key stakeholders, and high-value clients. Understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Technical Expertise : Utilize your in-depth knowledge of defence systems and technologies to offer technical support and guidance to clients. Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and detailed explanations of technical specifications.
- Proposal Development : Create and deliver detailed proposals, including technical and commercial aspects, to meet client requirements. Ensure proposals are competitive and aligned with client needs.
- Negotiation and Closing : Lead negotiations and close sales deals, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for both the company and the client.
- Market Analysis : Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and technological advancements in the defence sector. Provide insights and recommendations to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
- Travel : Regularly travel to meet clients, attend trade shows, and participate in industry events. Be prepared for frequent travel as part of the role.
Qualifications :
Experience : 5-10 years of proven experience in sales engineering or a similar role, specifically involving high-value marine equipment or systems. Experience working with government officials is highly preferred.Education : Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in engineering or sales are a plus.Technical Skills : Strong understanding of defence systems, equipment, and technologies. Ability to explain complex technical details in a clear and compelling manner.Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic / French / Spanish is an advantage.Professionalism : Demonstrated ability to engage with senior government officials and high-profile clients in a professional and respectful manner.Travel : Willingness and ability to travel frequently within the region.We Offer :
