This role of Sales Director, Asia - Defense, is responsible for Bombardier Defense's overall relationship and business development activities with government and industrial organizations in the Aerospace and Defense sector in Asia.

Location :

The home base for this position is flexible within Asia or Dubai, UAE.

Responsibilities :

  • Report to the Regional Vice President, International Defense Sales.
  • Develop relationships with governmental and industrial organizations in Asia's Aerospace and Defense sector.
  • Guide Bombardier in government procurement processes and develop strategies for business development in Asia.
  • Assess industry challenges and trends, anticipating future requirements for Bombardier Defense solutions.
  • Achieve aircraft sales targets and grow revenue and market share in the region.
  • Engage with key stakeholders in government, military, and industry sectors.
  • Represent Bombardier at industry events, conferences, and airshows in Asia.

Qualifications and Skills :

  • Extensive experience in the Aerospace / Defense industry in Asia, with knowledge of public affairs and government procurement.
  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in business, public affairs, engineering, or related fields.
  • Strategic thinking, complex deal structuring, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and intercultural skills.
  • Strong knowledge of defense and special mission aircraft solutions.
  • Self-driven, result-oriented, with a strong work ethic.
