Aquarium Maintenance Technician

Role Description

The Aquarium Maintenance Technician at AquaGallery ensures that both customer and in-store aquariums are kept in excellent condition, supporting a healthy and visually stunning aquatic environment. This role combines technical expertise in aquarium systems, water quality, and livestock care with creative skills in aquascaping and maintaining planted and aquascaped aquariums. The Technician performs day-to-day tasks such as maintaining aquatic equipment, troubleshooting issues, performing preventive maintenance, and conducting maintenance and repair work. The Technician plays a vital role in customer service by visiting clients on-site, performing regular maintenance, and providing advice on aquarium care. In addition, the position supports AquaGallery’s operations through safe transport of equipment, supplies, and livestock, while representing the brand in a professional and service-oriented manner.

Qualifications

• Equipment Maintenance and Industrial Maintenance skills
• Troubleshooting and Preventive Maintenance skills
• Knowledge of aquatic life and aquarium systems
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Previous experience in a related field is advantageous
• Relevant technical certifications or training are beneficial
• Additional sales and manual driving skills are required
