About The Opportunity

Hospitality — Food & Beverage (Café / Restaurant) sector operating in the United Arab Emirates. We are hiring on-site front-of-house professionals to deliver polished, efficient service in a high-volume, customer-first environment.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver warm, attentive service to guests : greet, take orders, communicate menu details and ensure timely table turnover.
  • Prepare consistent, high-quality coffee and specialty beverages using espresso equipment and standard recipes; steam milk and perform basic latte art where required.
  • Operate POS terminals accurately, handle cash / card transactions, process bills and assist with end-of-shift reconciliation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and food-safety standards across service areas—clear tables, reset covers, and follow HACCP-aligned procedures.
  • Support opening / closing routines, stock rotation, basic inventory checks and timely restocking of service stations.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and floor teams to resolve guest requests, manage order flow, and upsell daily specials when appropriate.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

  • Valid authorization to work in the UAE and ability to work on-site across scheduled shifts.
  • Minimum 1 year of proven experience as a waiter / waitress, barista, or front-of-house server in a café / restaurant.
  • Practical barista skills : espresso machine operation, milk texturing, consistent drink quality.
  • Confident communication in English; clear verbal skills for order-taking and guest interaction.
  • Experience with POS systems, cash handling and basic math for billing and reconciliation.
  • Understanding of hygiene and food-safety practices (HACCP aware) and professional grooming standards.

    • Preferred

  • Additional language skills (Arabic, Hindi, Tagalog or others) for diverse guest interactions.
  • Formal barista training or certification and familiarity with specialty coffee techniques.
  • Previous experience in high-volume outlets or branded hospitality chains in the UAE.
