Overview
Our client is a global investment and operations group with a strong focus on the food and FMCG sectors. They are seeking a Country Head to lead and scale their UAE operations while overseeing market development in KSA.
Responsibilities
- Lead the expansion of operations in the UAE, while developing market presence in KSA.
- Build and manage a lean team, including Commercial Managers and support staff.
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies across multiple categories (e.g., fresh produce, dry foods, beauty, alcohol).
- Establish and grow B2B sales channels, retail partnerships, and distribution networks.
- Collaborate with global trading and procurement teams to align pricing and supply chain strategies.
- Identify new growth opportunities and drive innovation across product categories.
- Represent the company in key industry forums and build strategic relationships across the region.
Qualifications
12-15 years of experience in commercial leadership roles, with proven success launching brands or categories in the UAE.Strong trading experience and exposure to both imports and exports.Strong experience and network in KSA market development.Deep understanding of retail and distribution landscapes in the UAE.Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on approach to business building.Background in startups or challenger brands is highly preferred.Experience across both food and non-food categories is a strong advantage.Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.Due to the high volume of applications, please note that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
