Draftsman (ARCHITECTURAL & STRUCTURAL)

The Role:

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and detailed architectural, structural, and MEP drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Assist in the development of design presentations and conceptual drawings using Photoshop, InDesign, SketchUp, and Lumion.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other consultants to ensure accuracy and compliance in design and documentation.
• Translate conceptual sketches and designs into technical drawings as per project specifications.
• Ensure that all drawings comply with Dubai Municipality (DM) and other local authorities’ standards.
• Support project teams during design development and construction documentation phases.
• Modify and revise drawings based on feedback from architects, engineers, and regulatory authorities.
• Maintain organized project files and drawing registers.

Ideal Profile:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in an engineering consultancy environment in the UAE.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Photoshop, InDesign, SketchUp, and Lumion.
• Strong knowledge of UAE building codes, construction detailing, and materials.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.

Preferred Skills

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
• Previous experience working with Dubai Municipality submissions and approvals.
• Knowledge of BIM workflow is an added advantage.
