Technical Architect

Responsibilities

• Connect with the Value Chain, Manufacturing and Digital & Technology (D&T) specialists and leadership to map the business needs and technology AS-IS landscape supporting Manufacturing processes (including IT landscape, Data management, Applications employed in production, OT landscape, Networking, Security and Control catalogue, etc)
• Define and refine use-cases roadmap for manufacturing and D&T initiatives
• Perform a gap-analysis of the capabilities across Digital and Technology components based on Industry Best Practices and Trends (i.e., Systems landscape, Data Management & Acquisition, Integration Capabilities) and OT (i.e., L1-L3 landscape, Network & Security and Data Tags accessibility)
• Develop the technical architecture including all the components (Infrastructure, Networking, Applications, Integration, etc.)
• Map the typical data flows and integrations between the components and the overall IT landscape (e.g., ERP)
• Description of the architecture components and potential alternatives both vendor and custom-based solutions
• Provide the target D&T organization at group and local levels
• Provide recommendations on vendors (including qualification / comparison checklist) to be contacted in the RFP stages and execute the RFPs
• Provide high-level budget and resource estimations for the identified initiatives and create an implementation roadmap (including the prioritization of impactful use cases that could be deployed short-medium term) to achieve the target state
• Develop / Refine maturity assessment for sites and perform some of the assessments and recommendations
