Job Description of SAP BODS Consultant-Banking

We are seeking a skilled SAP BODS Consultant – Banking to join our dynamic team in Dubai. This role is ideal for professionals with strong technical expertise in SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS) and experience in the banking domain. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing ETL solutions to support critical data integration and transformation processes. This is a high-impact role that offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities of SAP BODS Consultant-Banking

5+ years of experience in BODS design and architecture

Proficiency in SQL / PLSQL

Experience creating Technical Specification Documents

Hands-on expertise in SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS)

Integration experience with IDOC, BAPI, and SAP applications

End-to-end Data Migration project exposure

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve ETL issues independently

Experience with BODS installation, configuration, and transformations

Comfortable with Python & Linux-based environments

Bonus : Knowledge of AWS Glue, Amazon Athena, and DBT

Qualification Required for SAP BODS Consultant-Banking

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

5+ years of hands-on experience with SAP BODS development and support.

Strong knowledge of ETL processes, data warehousing concepts, and data modeling.

Experience working in banking or financial services domain is highly preferred.

Proficiency in SQL and data management techniques.

Ability to analyze complex data sets and provide actionable insights.

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

Strong team player with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
