API Integration Tester

Overview

We are hiring an experienced API Integration Tester to join our Client Service Implementation team in Dubai. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in API testing and a passion for delivering seamless integrations in the payments industry.

You’ll be responsible for validating API connections with clients, merchants, and partners—ensuring they meet technical specifications, security standards, and business requirements. The role is approximately 70% hands-on testing and 30% client coordination .

Responsibilities

• Execute manual and automated API testing using tools such as Postman, SoapUI, and custom scripts
• Validate API responses, encryption, data formats, and error handling against product specifications
• Lead joint testing sessions with clients and provide technical guidance throughout the integration process
• Document test cases, log defects, and maintain detailed testing reports
• Collaborate with internal teams to troubleshoot issues and ensure alignment with business needs
• Stay current with API testing tools, methodologies, and best practices
• Support clients during onboarding and integration phases, ensuring timely issue resolution
