Black & Grey HR is hiring for a well-established global logistics and freight forwarding organization offering integrated air, ocean, and land transportation, customs brokerage, warehousing, and end-to-end supply chain solutions. We are seeking a highly driven and performance-oriented Head of Sales – Air Freight Business Development with a strong hunter sales mentality to lead aggressive market expansion and revenue growth within the air freight division.
Business Development & Revenue Growth
- Develop and execute aggressive sales strategies to achieve ambitious air freight revenue targets.
- Identify, prospect, and close new clients through cold calling, networking, industry events, and strategic outreach.
- Build a strong pipeline of opportunities and convert leads into long-term business relationships.
- Focus heavily on new account acquisition (hunter profile) rather than account maintenance.
Client & Commercial Management
- Engage with key decision-makers across industries.
- Lead commercial negotiations, RFQs, pricing discussions, and contract finalization.
- Design tailored air freight solutions aligned with client supply chain requirements.
Market Strategy & Collaboration
- Monitor market trends, airline capacity, pricing dynamics, and competitor activities.
- Collaborate closely with operations, pricing, and customer service teams to ensure seamless onboarding and service delivery.
- Contribute to strategic planning and expansion initiatives within the air freight vertical.
Reporting & Performance Management
- Maintain structured pipeline tracking and accurate sales forecasting.
- Deliver regular performance reports to senior leadership.
- Drive KPIs aligned with revenue growth, gross margin, and customer acquisition targets.
- 8–15+ years of proven experience in air freight forwarding sales or logistics business development.
- Strong hunter mindset with a demonstrated track record of winning new business and closing high-value accounts.
- Existing network of shippers, freight forwarders, and corporate clients within the UAE/GCC is a strong advantage.
- Deep understanding of air cargo products, airline networks, pricing structures, and international trade regulations.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and commercial acumen.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and drive results.
- Fluency in English; additional regional languages are a plus.
