We Staffed is in search of a dedicated Consultant in Acute Medicine to join a dynamic healthcare team. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, and management of patients with acute medical conditions, ensuring timely and effective treatment in a fast-paced clinical environment. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care in our acute care settings, overseeing patient management from admission through discharge. Your expertise will also contribute to the development of protocols and guidelines aimed at improving patient outcomes. As a Consultant, you will have the opportunity to mentor junior staff, provide education to medical trainees, and engage in research initiatives aimed at enhancing acute medical practice.
Responsibilities
- Assess and manage patients presenting with acute medical conditions in the emergency or inpatient setting.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessments and investigations.
- Collaborate with other specialists to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients.
- Train and mentor junior medical staff and participate in educational activities.

Requirements
Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with completion of an accredited training program in Acute Medicine.Valid medical license to practice in the state.Board certification in Acute Medicine or a related specialty preferred.A minimum of 5 years of experience in acute care settings preferred.Strong clinical decision-making skills and ability to manage complex medical conditions.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration.Commitment to continuous professional development and evidence-based practice in acute medicine.
