Dredging Operations Manager

About the Position:

We are seeking a dynamic leader to oversee operations in marine dredging and land reclamation, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget while upholding high standards of quality, safety, and environmental care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Regularly update senior management with reports on key performance indicators, including progress, challenges, equipment status, and outcomes.

• Develop and implement plans for resource allocation and forecast usage of consumables.

• Collaborate with the project control team to establish a data stream for project monitoring, creating dashboards to highlight areas of concern or interest.

• Ensure seamless operation of processes critical to departmental success.

• Formulate and maintain project management standards, policies, guidelines, and procedures.

• Oversee compliance with quality assurance, quality control, and health, safety, and environmental standards across all vessels and support crafts.

• Evaluate project proposals to determine timelines, budget constraints, and procedural requirements, ensuring efficient resource allocation.

• Manage financial aspects to align with budgetary limits.

• Make informed decisions that benefit both the client and the organisation.

• Foster effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to achieve departmental objectives.

• Ensure optimal staffing and resource allocation to meet business priorities effectively.

Qualifications:

• A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.

• 10-15 years of relevant experience in the dredging industry.

• Proven expertise in field operations and project management within marine construction.

• Strong leadership and teamwork skills.
