Overview

Senior Commissioning Engineer with a proven track record in leading the building commissioning of major construction projects to join our team in the UAE. The role will require you to support the project manager with delivery of project scope and provide training and coaching to the team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced and motivated Senior Commissioning Engineer seeking a leadership role within a growing and ambitious company with a unique service offering.

Responsibilities

• Lead the building commissioning of major construction projects and support the project manager with delivery of project scope.
• Provide training and coaching to the project team.
• Independently conduct site inspections in a selected discipline.
• Review design information, tolerances and agreed methods of working.
• Assess whether test procedures and recorded results demonstrate compliance with project specifications and industry codes of practice.
• Monitor installation, submittals and the use of engineering tools adhering to project and commissioning guidelines.
• Carry out wide-ranging MEP and ICT knowledge to conduct in-depth Commissionability design review studies.
• Understand commissioning programmes including sequencing of work and critical path analysis.
• Able to assess priorities and communicate to staff; set out and manage an effective commissioning process.
• Participate in resolution of technical problems.
