Your Role and Responsibilities

An AI Engineer leverages the watsonx platform to co-create AI value with clients, focusing on technology patterns that improve repeatability and client satisfaction. Your primary responsibilities include :

• POC Development : Develop proofs of concept to validate AI solutions; collaborate with development teams to implement and iterate POCs aligned with customer requirements.
• Collaboration and Project Management : Work with data scientists, software engineers, and project managers to ensure smooth delivery; communicate progress, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders.
• Solution Implementation and Deployment : Oversee implementation and deployment, ensuring adherence to best practices, quality standards, and performance requirements; provide technical guidance during deployment.
• Solution Optimization and Performance : Monitor and optimize AI solutions (including foundation models and large language models); pursue improvements in efficiency, accuracy, and speed.
• Customer Engagement and Support : Serve as a technical point of contact for customers; address questions and provide guidance on AI best practices and use cases during deployment.
• Documentation and Knowledge Sharing : Document architectures, decisions, and implementation details; create technical docs and contribute to internal knowledge sharing and mentoring.
• Industry Trends and Innovation : Stay current with AI trends and evaluate emerging technologies for solution design and implementation.
